- Jan is a small ragged boy. Jan is a Static Character. Why I say so is that Jan remains a fighter throughout the story and he never change and the second reason is that Jan remains a thief throughout the story and he never change no matter how much beating he got or punishment.

- No I haven't, but I heard that it is a very good novel to read. I might read it.
- Ok am going to tell you about Jan, Jan is a boy who is tough ,street-wise, wild, a thief, a pickpocket and is good at fighting.
- Like how you read the book can you tell me about a character in the novel.
- Jan is an animal lover. He always have a wooden box with his treasures in it under his arm any where he goes. In it is a silver sword that he cherish and will never leave it until he reunite with the person who gave it to him. Jan eyes are unnaturally bright and he had wispy hair.
- Yes he is really fun and interesting , anyways my bus is here so I have to go.
- That character sounds very interesting and fun, I really have to read that novel.
