- In the Mayan creation story, Tepeu the maker and Gucumatz the feathered spirit created the world with their thoughts.
- Us animals got created before humans you know? They created animals of the sky, the land and the oceans.
- How about we have a being that can talk and take care of our creation?
- I feel like we need more animals.
- The 2 deities set out to make the perfect human being through different materials till they succeeded.
- I guess clay didn't work out. He just crumbled in front of us.
- Maybe wood would work better.
- Oh yay! He didn't crumble this time!
- They tried making him out of wood for durability yet he was empty headed and had no heart.
- But he seems like he has no feelings and a mind of his own. Let's try again!
- And that's when they found the perfect combination, a man made out of corn who was empathetic and intelligent.
- Finally!
