  • How did the Indus Valley Civilization declined?- The Harappan culture started to decline around 1750BCE.- Became weak under the growing population.- There was an influx of refugees.- At Mohenjodaro, the sites of decline were more evident.- Neighbouring desert increased salinity of the soil and decreased the fertility.- Traces of deep flooding were detected.- Rivers changed their course and dried up which again lifted the population to shift in other areas.These are some of the various cause which might or might not have happened.
