  • Prince Siddhartha was meant to be either a spiritual leader or a great political leader. His father wanted him to be a great king so he did not want him to do anything that was not on the path to leading. That also includes being interested in life.
  • One time when the young prince was outside he saw a farmer plowing. then he saw a worm come out of the field which was then taken by a bird. Late he went and meditated and realize that all life was connected.
  • The prices father would not let him leave the palace. He did not want him to see any pain of suffering. So the king surrounded him with beautiful women to make him happy, but it did not work.
  •  At the age of 16 the Prince's father arranged for him to marry Yasodhara.
  • The prince made four journeys and saw four aspects of life. One is the noble truth of suffering. Another is the noble truth of the cause if suffering. The third one is the noble truth of cessation of suffering. And the last one is noble truth of the path.
  • After the prince had seen the four aspects of life and after he was married he decided to leave and meditate. After he left he taught more and more people about what he had learned. and he taught them how to meditate. Now the prince is called Buddha and his teachings are the Buddhist religion.
