- This is person vs nature because Brian has to find out a way to travel in the snow. He gets the idea of how to make snowshoes from watching rabbits run around.
- This is person vs nature because the moose is attacking Brian. The moose was protecting itself from Brian after he shot it
- Brian killed a deer and was upset that it took long for the deer to die. He was upset since the deer was sitting still eating.
