  • The Start of the American Revolution
  • Absolutely. Lets boycott anything British.
  • The British keep taxing us. We should riot
  • Boston Massacre
  • 5 CIVILIANS DEAD
  • Boston Tea Party
  • All of the tea, throw it in the water. Hurt the Brits' where it hurts. Their wallets and tea!
  • Due to protecting the colonies during the 7 year long war, Britain decided to take them in order to get their money back. After introducing the Stamp Act in 1765. The colonies protested against this legislation but it was to no avail as more Acts to taxes were implemented. Seeing as this still did not work, the king sent 1000 troops to the colonies and kept the tax on tea.

  • After sending 1000 troops to Boston, tensions rose when a group of Patriots were harassing British soldiers. It escalated to the point where 5 civilians died. This furthered the Americans' motivation to go against the British and to want change. Spice Indicators: Political
  • Washington crosses the Delaware
  • ONWARD MEN! WE MUST ATTACK THEM WHEN THEY"RE DOWN
  • A group of patriots got together and disguised themselves as Native Americans, boarded a British merchant ship loaded with tea and threw it into the Ocean. This not only hurt the Birts' economics and increased tensions between the Colonies and Britain. This also ruined the ocean for an extended period of time.   • COME ONE GENTLEMEN! HOW DO YOU EXPECT TO DEFEAT THE 
  • The British made plans to eliminate the Americans' ammunition in Concord but were stopped by Rebel troops in Lexington. The Rebels were outnumbered and forced back. When they went back to Concord American troops joined in to help and back the British into a corner. They eventually fled back to Boston and had them surrounded in the City. 
  • During the winter Washington decided to attack the British while defenses were down. While the Hessian mercenaries were distracted, Washington crossed the icy Delaware river with a troop of men and caught the Hessians off guard; causing them to surrender. Which helped raise morale and sent a message to the Brits’. Spice Indicator: Political and Social

  • After losing to Philadelphia, Washington's leadership was again put into question. Then a man hired by Benjamin Franklin, Fredrich August Steuben, gave Washington’s men some training. They were trained to march, shoot and more coming out new and improved.
