- During taxation, only poor people were getting taxed. They already didn't have enough money to pay for food and essentials yet they were obligated to pay for taxes. Not only were the poor people paying for taxes, but they had to pay for the higher taxes while others who had more money where out and about wasting their money on jewels.

- People were going hungry and not many had the money to pay for their food. They were unable to mark meet ends. They couldn't even afford bread at times.

- The Enlightenment philosophies was a movement that was attempting to dominate their people by taking things away. The Enlightenment philosophies were taking over Church lands. The Church lost it's land and political independence.
- Women’s March to Versailles
- The assembly begins to reform France. The assembly adopted a statement that was the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. It stated that "men are born and remain free and equal in rights". It also included "liberty, property, security, and resistance to oppression". The document also guaranteed right to people that had to do with freedom.

- They were attacked by an angry mob. The mob wanted it their way but the governor refused. The mob got mad and disapproved with the answer. They later then stormed Bastille.
