- Ferdinand the son of the King of Naples was separated from the rest of the king's party during the storm.
- Climax
- Ariel the spirit is singing while Ferdinand is just sitting all alone on the island. Ferdinand wonders where the singing is coming from. He follows the sound but its stops then starts again. He doesn't think its from earth.
- Falling Action
- Miranda and Ferdinand meet each other. It was like love at first sight. Ferdinand falls in love with Miranda.
- Resolution
- Ferdinand is working and carrying logs when Miranda comes and tries to help him but he doesn't let her. Ferdinand goes on to tell Mirdana how much he likes her and how beautiful she is. Miranda says the same things to Ferdinand. Miranda asks Ferdinand does he love her. She also says I'm your wife if you will marry me"
- Prospera is giving Miranda away to Ferdinand as they are about to get married. Prospera tells Ferinand that they must not make love until they are married and if the two do make love before marriage the relationship will not be good. Ferdinand assures that he will respect Miranda's chastity.
- Ferdinand finds out that his father is still alive and he lets his father know that Miranda is his wife.
