- the next layer after topsoil is subsoil is made of clay,sand and silt.
- The soil called humas is the first layer, and the plants that grow into it goes into the topsoil and some into the subsoil and tree roots somtimes goes into parent material
- The second layer,topsoil is made from minarials (tiny broken bits of rocks)
- The first layer of soil is humas it is made of living and non-living organisms
- The last layer of soil is called bed rock the surface of bed rock is hard and rough like the name itself a bed of rock.
- The forth layer of soil is called parent material it has big rocks that are spread apart and it is the final stage tree root can go into.
