- Thomas Becket and Henry II were good friends so Henry made Thomas an Archbishop. Thomas started to take his job and religion seriously so he stopped spending time with Henry. They began to disagree a lot.
- They became so angry with each other Becket moved to France for 6 years.
- After 6 years, Becket returns. Henry and Becket try to agree but ends up being even more angry with each other. Thomas also fired all of the bishops that worked for Henry will he was away.
- Henry lost his temper so much that he said that he wanted to kill Becket out of his rage.
- A few of Henry's nights over heard him so they travelled to Becket's cathedral to murder him.
- Henry is really upset because he didn't really mean it so he let all the people throw things at him and tear his clothes. Thomas Becket then became a Saint.
