- The year is 1606, James Rolfe guides the English just arrive onto Newland, the fresh new wilderness with thousands of kilometers to explore! The english assume they are safe and begin their colonization. But what awaited them was years of suffering and death.

- We offer Jewels and Riches from our lands in trade for a supply of food.

- There were new unknown people who have dwelled in the land for many years. They were a real threat and the English hadn't prepared for the more primitive weaponry like bows. Their muskets couldn't reload fast enough to counter the Natives and the majority of the men were gentlemen who didn't even know how to fire a musket.

- Here is a new plant! Tobacco, you can use it for many applications!
- They also didn't bring into account if they could grow food or if they even had enough food to begin with. There was mass starvation, dehydration from the salt water, disease, and the Natives continued to prove a problem. Some of the Englishmen even resort to cannibalism because of the lack of proper food. 7 out of 10 people did not make it leading the numbers of the colony to dwindle.

- The times were harsh but in the starvation John Smith decided to talk to the Natives and trade with them using Jewels to convince them to give food. For the most part this had worked with the help of pocahontas to convince the chief that it was a good idea. Pocahontas also taught them essential skills but alas the Jamestown Colony fell into starvation again.
- Now it had seemed hopeless, no food, no water, not even the Natives would help them anymore. Until the English had discovered a revolutionary plant, tobacco. They grew tobacco even though it wasn't even edible and sold it across the Atlantic Ocean and this drew in investors called the Virginia Company and really saved the Jamestown Colony.
- The Jamestown Colony was finally gaining traction with the first births, increases of population, and the death rates were finally slowing down. It was looking great for the Jamestown Colony. However sometime during the beginning James Smith's leg was injured and he had to return to Europe to live out the rest of his days.
