Storyboard Text

  • In this scene, the manager is telling his representative that the workers have been striking for the past 2 weeks. He further explains how all of this has been stressful and has been affeting the productive output of the comoany and that something neeeds to be done. Workers have th right to have peaceful and legal strikes which can encourage management to find a solution that accomodates each and every worker.
  • My workers have been having a legal strike and I do not know what to do.
  • In this scene, the representative of the manager informs him that another final meeting needs to be held in order for a solution to be found, he further states that if things are going to continue like this, the comapany could be in trouble as production outcomes are being affected by the status quo. Management is able to ask for another meeting to see if he/she can meet the requirements of the workers.
  • It seems like another meeting has to be held.
  • In this scene, as adviced by his representative, management decided to be in contact with NEHAWU and ask for another meeting that could possibly be the solution to everyone's problems. As a manager you need to set your pride aside and do what is best for business, it is your mandate to ensure that the business survives and in order to achieve that you need to ensure that your relationship with your employees if good.

  • In this scene, John is informing the members that management has requested to have a final meeting to find a solution to the current issue. He further encourages them to stick by their word until they recieve the treatment they deserve. As a superior of a Trade Union once the employees are at a deadlock phase they might end up loosing hope, it is up to you to keep reminding them why they started this in the first place so that they do not give up and continue to find legally so that they get what they deserve.
  • In this scene, Jphn is telling the employeees that this might be the last meeting for them to fight and ensure that thy recieve all thebenefits they have been fighting for. Once a deadlock in negotiations is reached it is difficult to ensure that bsuiness continues effectively as usual, because there will be tension between management and the employees. Therefore it is important to find a resolution.
  • In this scene, the employees are realising that they might actually win this issue and they start to prepare for the next meeting as they were adviced. Employees have the right to list things that they feel are impartial and they have the right to expect these issues being solved by management, this is why it was important for them to prepare and ensure that they have listed all their issues so that they be mentioned in the meeting.
