- 1 Even urging the British to abolish the salt tax doesn't help. We must discuss and plan a Civil Disobedience movement with our followers. We need to show the British what we are capable of.

- 2 Yes, so true we can't even manufacture them. These British men have snatched are right to manufacture such a basic comodity as salt.
- People talking about the increase in the price of salt because of the addition of salt tax by the British.
- 1 The price of salt has risen a lot due to addition of the salt tax. It is becoming hard day by day to even purchase such common comodities.
- 4 I understand your problem....It's becoming hard for people to afford even basic necessities. I'll definitely look into the same

- After reaching Dandi, a 24 days march along with his volunteers, Gandhiji and his volunteers strictly followed non- violance
- The following morning, after a prayer, Gandhi raised a lump of salty mud and boiled it in seawater, producing illegal salt. He implored his thousands of followers to likewise begin making salt along the seashore, wherever it is convenient and to instruct villagers in making illegal, but necessary, salt
- With this I am shaking the foundations of British Empire.
- Even though we have been arrested, we have shown the British what we can do. This small step has lit a spark amongst people of Unity.
- The date for the Dandi March/ Salt March was fixed on 12th March 1930. Even though it was a distance of 240 miles, 78 volunteers joined Gandhiji. (through selection)
- 1 It's time for us, Indians to show our power to the British. Their unjust rule cannot go on for long. We would lead a mass Civil Disobedience Movement..We will march from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi and break the salt law by manufacturing the same.
