Tissue Family

- The Tissue Family have a tradition where every year, they gather for their annual Christmas party and exchange gifts while enjoying the company of one another. Over the years, the gatherings have seemed to have lost their spark because of the Tissue sisters graduating and moving away from home.
- What they don't know is they are going to be in for a surprise when they find out the sisters have come to visit and help them catch up with their new jobs and lives while enjoying the presence of their loved ones.
- One by one, the sisters all started to make their way to the family home, greeting everyone excitedly while also making small talk here and there. Nervous Nancy, Muscular Mary, Connective Cam, and Epithelial Elsa sit down and tell about their new lives and how they like it.
- Muscular Mary: I moved to the Brawn Apartments located between the bones and my new job is composed of specialized cells called muscle fibers and the main function is contractibility. As a result, pressure and force are applied to different parts of the body. I help attach to the bones or internal organs and blood vessels and I'm also responsible for helping with movement.
- Aunt Kelly: Nancy, how about you start off and tell us what's been going on.
- Aunt Kelly: What about you Elsa? How's life treating you?
- Epithelial Elsa: I moved to Epilopia City located in the internal and external surfaces of the body and I was recently promoted to being the main boss over the tissue in the glands. I have three boys who names are Protection ,Secretion , and Absorption.
- Nervous Nancy: I recently moved to Brainy Penthouses located between the brain and the spinal cord. I now work at Muscles and Fiber and my job can be characterized as being excitable and capable of sending and receiving electrochemical signals that provide the body with information. I obtain messages the brain passing them on to others.
- Aunt Kelly: How have you been Nancy? Fill us in.
- Aunt Kelly: So Cam, how is your new life in the city?
- Collective Cam: I moved to Tendon City and it's located between the Dermis Palace. My job in my new city is to support, protect, and give structure to other tissues and organs in the body. I also help to store fat and move nutrients between the tissues and organs while helping to repair damaged tissue. I love m y job and it really gives me a purpose!
