- Hi, we are plants! Our friends are going to show you how photosynthesis works! DId you know that photosynthesis helps keep the earth running
- Hi, my name is Ella! Let's learn a little about photosynthesis before we start our adventure!Take the tree next to me do you see how it's green?That's because photosynthesis is at work, its taking the chlorophyll (which makes it have color) and using the color in the light to continue the process.
- Did you know that photosynthesis means "the process by which plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar"
- Hi I'm here at this sunny meadow and the air is ahh just so fresh. But why? Lets ask the sunflower over there! Hey Miss sunflower, why is the air so clean, and do you help make it clean.
- Thanks for asking Ella, I play a small role in the air quality but photosynthesis occurs in the green part of the plant with chloroplasts. So the tree behind me helps more than me. What happens is we use sunlight, water and Co2 to help us get energy, It's like if you ate protein bars every time you had sun water and oxygen. We also create glucose as part of our energy and let off oxygen during the day because our system is a little different than yours. We use the carbon dioxide you produce as our fuel, our discard is your air!
- I'm so glad you asked! In simple terms it's the opposite of photosynthesis! Crazy, right! During Cellular Respiration (the time without sun) we consume O2 or oxygen and water, And we put out carbon dioxide and dew which is water. We use the O2 to break down our 'food'

- Hey I'm Callie! Are you ready to learn the official recipe for photosynthesis? I am! The ingredients for photosynthesis are very simple all you need is some sunlight, a bit of water, and carbon dioxide. When you combine this 3 ingredients it becomes what we call photosynthesis!
