- Neil Armstrong was born in Wapakonata, Ohio On August 5, 1930. When he was young, Armstrong loved and interested in flying and at the age of 16 teen he got his pilot licenses.

- He went to collage in 1947 but had to fight in the Korean War in 1949 as a US Navy pilot . In 1952, Armstrong resumed his studies and graduated college.
- Armstrong, you need to go to the Korean War.
- Armstrong married Janet Shearon in 1956. In 1957, Their son, Eric and a few years later, their son Mark was born. In the same year, Armstrong join the astronaut program.
- IN 1969, Armstrong, Aldern, and Collins were launched to the moon during the Cold War.
- We are on our way to the moon.
- He was the first man to walk on the moon. He earned lots of awards for his accomplishment for the whole world
- That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.
- He stayed in NASA until 1971 and became a professor of space engineering at the University of Cincinnati.
