- Nelson Mandela was an Anti-Apartheid activist who was sent to jail quite a few times for protesting against the Apartheid. In jail, he wrote an autobiography about his story and it became so famous, that lots of people in other countries also read it. The other countries disagreed with what the South Africans were doing that they cut economical ties between them.

- Nelson Mandela was born in 1918 and became an activist against the Apartheid. He joined the Anti-Apartheid movement and was sent to jail a few times while trying to speak out.

The next president(a white man named F.W de Klerk) of South Africa released Nelson Mandela and dismantled the entire Apartheid.

- In 1989, F.W de Klerk was elected president and he decided to shut down the Apartheid, unban corporations that tried to stop the Apartheid, and released Mandela from prison. Later on, Mandela and de Klerk, both were awarded

- A white man named F.W de Klerk of South Africa in 1989 and released Nelson Madela and dismantled the entire Apartheid. He helped people all over South Africa and then won a Nobel Peace Prize.
