- I find this scene important specifically because during it, it was a way for Propero to explain how him and Miranda ended up on the island to begin with.
- There's no harm done, Miranda.
- ACT 2, SCENE 2
- I also somewhat find this scene important to the plot. It shows how easily Caliban takes on to others, and was easily influenced by Stephano.
- What a ridiculous monster.
- I'm flattered! Lead the way.
- ACT 3, SCENE 2
- Finally, I find this scene of Caliban persuading Stephano to kill Prospero. It shows Caliban wants Prospero with no power, and to make Stephano believe Prospero took the island by sorcery.
- Kill Prospero. Battle his skull, or paunch him with a stake.
