- "What, drawn, and talk of peace! I hate the word As I hate hell, all Montagues, and thee." Tybalt
- Act 1
- "If you disturb our streets again, Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace." Prince
- "But my true love is grown to such excess I cannot sum up sum of half of my wealth."
- Act 2
- "So SMile the heavens upon this holy act That afterhours with sorrow chide us not!"
- Tybalt, the reason that I have to love thee DOth much excuse the appertaining rage to such a greeting.
- Act 3
- Romeo, the love I bear thee can afford no better term than this: thou art a villain
- In Act 1, the Capulet and Montague Families got in a huge brawl. The prince who is on the horse came to tell them that the next person who starts a fight will be killed. He is trying to stop the feud between the families.
- Act 4
- She's dead, deceased; she's dead, alack the day! (Nurse)
- Romeo, Romeo, Romeo, I drink to thee! (Before the nurse came in)
- In this scene in Act 2 Romeo and Juliet get married. They get married within a day of knowing each other. This is a very important scene because now they are together and are married.
- Act 5
- "Here's to my love! (Drinks) O True apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss I die."
- "In crimson in thy lips and in thy cheeks, And death's pale flag is not advanced there"
- When Tybalt is insulting Romeo and trying to fight him, he says I love you back because he married Juliet and now they are related.
- Act 5
- "But I can give thee more; For I will raise her statue in pure gold." (Montague)
- (Prince) "See what a scourge is laid upon your hate, That heaven finds means to kill your joys with love."
- Juliet is forced to marry Paris while she is already married to Romeo. She is drinking alcohol that is going to make her look like she is dead, so she can escape her family and be with Romeo. The nurse comes in to find her "dead" but she is not really dead it just looks like it.
- Romeo thinks Juliet is dead because she is in the tomb with all the dead people but she isn't really dead. She took a potion that makes her look dead so she wouldn't have to marry Paris. Romeo doesn't know this and kills himself so he isn't without Juliet
- In the last couple of days Romeo, Juliet, Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris, and Lady Montague have all died because of the feud between the Capulet and Montague Households. The only good thing that comes from this is that the families made up and aren't feuding anymore.
- "O brother Montague, give me thy hand. This is my daughter's jointure, for no more can I demand." (Capulet)
