- Other students consider Margot to appear different. She is such an indrawn and gentle person. In contrast to different kids, Margot came from Earth four years ago. She misses the feeling of seeing the sun. She was devastated about her move to Venus because of the consistent rain.
- FALLING ACTION
- Children enthusiastically talk about the sun. None but Margot remembers the sun, since seven years ago when it last quit pouring. The children were just two years of age. Margot was four when she moved from Earth.
- RESOLUTION
- Before the sun comes out, a small group of students decided to lock Margot up in a closet. They go outside to play in the Venusian jungle, leaving Margot behind.

- Margot cries for help in the closet, knowing that she has to wait for another seven years to see the sun. The young students laugh and play absorbing the rays of sunshine. Then, once again, thunder strikes, and a heavy downpour arrives.
- As the children go back to the underground, they remember Margot locked in the closet. They stop and go to the closet where she was locked up and opened the door, seeing a devastated Margot on the floor.
