- Billy McCabe asks Agatha Burkhardt to marry him.
- Billy, I can't.
- Agatha, will you marry me?
- Agatha gets engaged to Mr. Benjamin Olstead.
- Georgie tells Mr. Olmstead that she saw Billy and Agatha kiss.
- I saw Billy kiss Agatha!
- Now I can't marry Agatha anymore.
- Agatha runs away after Mr. Olmstead breaks their engagement and Sheriff McCabe and Grandfather Bolte leave to look for her.
- Sheriff McCabe brings back a body in a blue-green ball gown, like Agatha's.
- I don't think that is my sister.
- Georgie gets a mule from Billy and they leave together in search for Agatha.
- Billy gets ahead and a cougar attacks Georgie.
- Billy, help!!!
- Billy saves Georgie and they wash Storm and Long Ears in the river before dinner.
- Georgie finds out from the shop owner that Agatha passed through Dog Hollow and Billy was paid to follow her.

- Billy and Georgie find the area where Agatha's body was found and search for clues.

- Billy and Georgie head to Garrow Farm to look for Agatha before heading home.
- We are off to Garrow Farm!
- Mrs. Garrow tells Georgie that her daughter is missing too.
- She has red hair like Agatha!

- Darlene is missing!
- Billy insists that they head home even though Georgie wants to go back to the Garrow's Farm to ask about the ribbon.
- Look at this ribbon I found! It might be Agatha's!
- We need to go HOME!
- On their way home, Georgie tells Billy about a cave she found with five-dollar bills on the floor.
- In a cave. Come see it!
- Where did you get a five-dollar note?
- Georgie takes Billy to the cave and they discover that Mr. Garrow was making counterfeit money.
- Here is the cave I found!
- Wow! Look at the printing press and all the banknotes in here!
- After going for a walk, Georgie comes back to find Mr. Garrow and Roy had Billy tied to a tree and kicked him in the ribs.

- Let's go!
- Georgie shoots off Roy's thumb to scare the men off and save Billy.
- Ouch! My thumb!
- BANG!
- Georgie puts Billy on Long Ears to get him help.
- After riding for a while Billy falls off Long Ears. Then Mr. Olmstead arrives in a covered wagon and takes them to Dog Hollow.
- Stop! Help! Man hurt!
- Billy will be alright, but your Grandfather died.
- After getting cleaned up at the Inn, Mr. Olmstead tells Georgie that the posse went out to capture Mr. Garrow and Roy, but her Grandfather died two days ago.

- When Georgie arrived at home, she found her Ma at Grandfather Bolte's funeral at the Mount Zion Cemetary.

- Ma was so happy to see Georgie that she pulled her off Long Ears and hugged her.
- One came home!

- After the funeral, guests gathered at the house and Ma brought a plate of food up to Georgie in her room.
- Get some rest and you can tell me your story tomorrow.
- I'm sorry Ma.
- Shortly after the funeral, Georgie learned that Ma married Sheriff McCabe and that summer Billy married Polly.
- We do.
- Time passed and everyone wondered about Agatha, so Georgie would write letters to people searching for her.
- If you see her, please tell her to write us.
- Georgie also rode Long Ears to the top of the bluff and spoke about Agatha to the wind. She saw a blue feather that reminded her of Agatha, beyond her reach in the wind.
- Let me tell you about my sister, Agatha.
- Then one day Ma got a letter in the mail from Agatha. She explained that she gave her dress to Darlene and went to the University to study. She was alive!

- Mrs. Garrow came looking for her daughter's grave. Ma took her to Grandfather's grave unaware of who she was looking for.

- Georgie realizes who it is and takes her to Agatha's grave, which really belongs to her daughter, Darlene.

- Mrs. Garrow tells them the story of how Darlene died and they have the name properly changed on the gravestone.
