  • Coenzyme A moves acetyl groups to a 4-carbon molecule, oxaloacetate. Makes a 6-carbon molecule called citrate. 1 carbon atom and 2 oxygen atoms get taken off the citrate. CO2 leaves the cycle and NADH gets made. 5-carbon molecule stays. similar reaction with different enzymes, CO2 is released again and NADH and ATP is made. Leaves 4-carbon molecule, succinate. Enzymes rearrange the molecule to oxaloacetate. NADH and FADH2 are made
  • okay so for this we have to go through 3 different stages. Glycolysis, Krebs cycle and Electron transport chain.
  • Now we can move on to the Krebs cycle
  • yes it is, and now that we are in here, let's take a closer look at what is going to happen. In the chloroplast is chlorophyll, which is a pigment. This absorbs light energy from the sun. This happens in the process of photosynthesis.
  • so photosystem II has two parts to it. first the antenna complex and inside of that is the reaction center. The chlorophyll is in the antenna complex, which then goes into the reaction center.
  • so as you can see carbon dioxide and water are the reactants and with sunlight energy it produces glucose and oxygen as products.
  • wait to show you better let me visualize it for you guys.
  • woww what is happening
