- Tornadoes
- A tornado is a violently rotating column of air that is in contact with both the surface of the Earth and a cumulonimbus cloud.
- Hurricanes / Cyclones
- Commonly occurring near tropical areas, these cyclones have low pressure in the center. They can cause heavy rain and high winds.
- Droughts
- A drought is a period of drier-than-normal conditions that results in water-related problems (precipitation, under-groundwater).
- Hail Storms/Precipitation
- Hail is a form of solid precipitation. This is dangerous as the chunks of ice may vary in size resulting human injuries and even death reported .
- Flood
- A flood is an overflow of water that submerges land. Its caused by heavy rain, overflow of dams, snowmelts and tsunami. it is very common in coastal areas.
- Tsunami
- Tsunamis are giant waves caused by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions under the sea. There are rapid ones which come with no precautions and slow ones which usually people in the nearby area evacuate.
