- Welcome! If you don't know who I am let me Introduce myself, I am President Abraham Lincoln and today I'm going to tell you about the Battle Of Antietam.
- In midsummer of 1862 I had the Emancipation Proclamation which was a document that will free a bit of slaves. The problem is some Democrats didn't like the idea.
- How can you call yourself President if your making bad decisions.
- General George B. McClellan tried to attack the Richmond the Capital of the Confederacy in the spring and summer of 1862. General Robert E Lee prevented them which led to McClellan to retreat.
- In September 9th, Lee issued Special Order 191 defining his “Maryland Campaign.” His plan to enter northern territory divided his army, sending each unit to march on a specific town: Boonsboro and Hagerstown in Maryland, and Harper’s Ferry and Martinsburg in West Virginia.
