  • Fundamental Freedoms
  • As a Canadian Citizen I have the right to think what I want, and believe in what ever religion I want to.
  • Democratic Rights
  • Canada has had a long and difficult history when it comes to it's democratic rights
  • Although this has changed, and now has guaranteed protection though the charter, and along with that the government can be held accountable.
  • Mobility Rights
  • Canadian Mobility rights go a little like this. As a citizen of Canada I'm able to move freely throughout the country, and other countries
  • Our fundamental freedoms as Canadians cover a wide variety of topics including the freedom to choose what religion you'd like to follow, or not to follow a religion at all, the freedom of thought and expression, and the freedom of peace and assembly.
  • Legal Rights
  • The Democratic rights in Canada's past were a far cry from perfect, but overtime they've involved to fit the needs of almost everyone. The restrictions that still apply to people now revolve around basic things such as age, and registration.#160; Another aspect of Democratic rights which Canadians benefit from include having elections every 5 years, and having all government representatives meet at least one per year.
  • Equality Rights
  • The key aspect about Mobility rights which wasn't mentioned above is that someone can be sent another county by force if they violated a law there, unless they'll be punished via the death penalty.
  • Language Education Right
  • Canada is bilingual country with the two main languages being French and English.
  • The Charter in Canada serves the purpose of protecting certain legal freedoms in Canada including things such as#160;Life, Liberty, and Security of the Person, or#160;Unreasonable Search and Seizure. Basically anything which would get the Law involved.
  • Legal rights in Canada encompass your basic protections
  • The goal behind equality rights is to allow everyone to serve a fair and equal trial before the law, and to prevent#160;discrimination
  • Equality rights ensure that the law isn't discriminatory in nature
  • Those who live in Canada are entitled to have their children educated in whichever language they prefer; however this can only happen if their is enough other students to justify the program. Along with this most things that come from parliament must be produced in both languages, and members of the pubic can freely communicate in whatever languages they'd like.
