- The Industrial Revolution started in Great Britain because there was an abundance of natural resources coal and iron
- And imperial wealth brought money for investment in factories
- There was new technology that helped farmers
- some of which are seed drivers and use of fertillizers
- Cities were unprepared for large populations moving in
- many people got diseases and factories were polluting the air and water
- Women and children worked for less pay
- There were dangerous machines and sometimes our limbs could get cut off
- There was a rise of big business including stocks and investors
- There was also a rise in the middle class
- Legislation was created to limit working hours and child labor
