Storyboard Text

  • Beginning or exposition.
  • Is that Cornelius Wyatt with his wife?
  • Rising action.
  • What's inside that box?
  • Climax.
  • YES YES YES!
  • Is your box more important than your life!?
  • Mr. Wyatt! the ship is sinking!
  • The narrator booked a cabin on a ship saling from Charleston to New York. Then he looked at the passenger's list and he recognized one name, Cornelius Wyatt, they were students at the same university, he was an artist who had recently got married to a beautiful and charming young woman.
  • Falling action.
  • The narrator realized that Cornelius booked 3 cabins and that he was traveling with his wife, his two sisters and a very large oblong box. The narrator tried to approached them but Cornelius was very rude so the narrator just stayed in his cabin and watched everything that was going on next to him. Then two men brought an oblog box into one of the cabins.
  • Resolution.
  • -Whant was in that box? -The body of Mr. Wyatt's dead wife.
  • As the days passed, Mr Wyatt did not leave the cabin that had the oblong box on it very often. Suddenly a very bad storm started and the ship hit some of the sharp, black rocks on the coastline and it started to sink. Immediately captian shouted to eveyrone to leave the ship and go to the small boats, but Mr. Wyatt was more worried about saving his oblog box over his own life.
  • Theme.
  • Eventually, the box and Mr. Wyatt fell into the sea, both the man and the box went straight down into the water and did not come up again.
  • A month later, the narrator met the captian again and talked about Mr. Wyatt and the oblong box. The captian told the narratos that inside the oblong box was the body of Mr. Wyatt's dead wife who undortunately died a few days before thay sailed and that that's why he didn't want to leave the box.
  • In my opinion the theme of this story is a mixture between what people would do for love and a little plot twist with a little bit of mystery.
