- The Hospital
- Hurry up, the appointment is at 3:00pm
- God, I hate the doctors office
- I'm so tired
- Doctors room
- Make sure everything's okay
- We are just going to run some blood tests
- It turns out you have the Epstein-Barr virus. If you're feeling better you can go to school, but if you feel worse go home immediately
- Mom, I'm going to bed to rest
-    School
- Okay honey
- I don't feel so well... I'm going to call my mom
- Zzz Zzz
- For the past week I was home sick with a high temperature, I wasn't able to talk because of how painful it was. My mom made an appointment at the doctors office to make sure everything was fine.
- Sleep

- I was feeling extremely tired by the time Dr. Bloom met with me. She ran a few blood tests, diagnosing me with the Epstein-Barr virus. The contagious part was over so she said I could go back to school if I was feeling better. However if I started feeling sick again I should go home and rest. Once the main symptoms for the virus stop you start to feel extreme fatigue that can last for more than a couple months.
- Two months later
- What do you mean I can't go to school and see friends, and Zoom... Whats Zoom?
- I went to school slightly nauseous and extremely fatigued, so I called home. As soon as I reached the house I laid on my bed and fell into a deep sleep.
-  The world
- I slept for a long time only getting up occasionally to eat. When I got up to eat I wasn't fully conscious, basically sleep walking, and feeling trapped in a dream state of mind. It wasn't until 2 to 3 months later that I woke up to a completely different world.
- I'm so tired
- Waking up from two months of misery and seeing the whole world in quarantine was challenging. Not being able to see friends or even go to school was very hard on me. Zoom was difficult at first but eventually I got the hang of it.

- The whole world was rapidly changing, and yet I was stuck 3 months in the past.
