- Father!Look! The plant climbs up to the fence.What are they?
- They are sitao bean plants, my child.
- Oh Rice washings? Why? What do rice washings have that help the sitaw grow healthy?
- Father! the plants are fruiting! Wow! I see a lots of green strings of sitaw beans. How did you do that?
- I watered them early in the morning with rice washings that your mother saved when she cook rice.
- That is true my child. We tried it some time and it works! I wondered too.
- One day, Jack saw a lots of vegetables in the their backyard garden#160; but he is more curious of the green vine climbing up their fence. He asks his father about this.
- Jack look closely at the plants. He is surprised because he notice that there's a lot of green strings on it.
- We found out that rice washings are very benefecial#160; for the plants to grow because it contain nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
- Jack mother came and said.
- Jack, his mother and father begin to search more information about rice washings.
- Based on their research.
- From that day Jack and his parents continue to apply rice washings to make their sitao beans and other plants and vegetables grow healthy.
