- The managing partners told Macbeth he would be promoted instead of Malcolm if his rates increased. They always warned him about no one hired in his firm will harm you and there is nothing to fear until Matthew moves in.

- Macbeth decided to hack and make Duncan's rates go down. Duncan is forced to transfer to another firm. Malcolm decided to also leave.
