- Coraline and her family move to a new apartment building. one day it rains and coraline goes exploring indoors. She discovers a locked door and she asks her mother to unlock it.
- You forgot to lock the door, mom.
- Chapter One
- It's just a bricked up door, Coraline. Probably leading to the empty apartment.
- After the rain stops Coraline goes exploring outside. She goes to visit Miss Spink and Miss Forcible where they read her tea leaves. The leave reveal she is in great danger! They give her a rock with a hole in it for good luck.

- The tea leaves say you're in danger, Caroline. Take this rock with a hole in it.
- Chapter Two
- Yeah lol. Good luck
- Coraline's mother goes to the store and coraline ventures through the door to the 'other flat', except this time its not bricked up and it leads to another world. This is where Coraline meets her other mother and other father.
- who are you?? my mom cant even cook microwave pizza.
- im your other mother! go tell your other father lunch is ready please.
