  • Hello, I'm here to talk to you about mental health issues regarding depression and suicide. First of all, if you are experiencing signs of sadness, emptiness, or hopelessness and have suicidal thoughts call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline because we can help.(show face)
  • The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is online 24/7 for anyone that needs to call. Around 25% of people in the US experience depression in their lives, so if you have symptoms, call NOW and we can help.(Picture of lifeline)
  • Around 75% of suicides in the US are by men, so even if you are experiencing very small signs of depression, it could escalate to a point where you might consider killing yourself, so call us immediately.
  • If you feel depressed, call us. You get better. Around 80-90% of people that call us show signs of improvement. There is hope. If you know a friend or a family member or someone close to you is experiencing depression, then tell them to call us.
  • Millions of people in the world struggle every day with depression and don't show it or keep their feelings to themselves. Only half of all Americans seek help for their depression, but those who do show signs of improvement, so please call us.
  • Around 50,000 people in the US kill themselves every year. We are working to decrease that number as much as we can. So please call us or ask a loved one to call at 1 800 273 8255 so that we can provide free confidential, emotional support to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.(show face)
