- Beth is a ghost and is only visible to her father and catching Beths father is a detective trying to solve a mystery about a death that happened in a fire in an old town .
- Beth and her father are introduced to catching after figuring out she was the witness to the fire. Beths dad finds out later that she was on drugs while she was near the fire
- soon later catching and her dad had some conflict Beth returns to catching to find out Beth can see catching and she can also see her. catching says to Beth that you should stop haunting her father and To move on. she thinks about it but she still want to do everything she can to help her dad to solve the case
- Beths vist to catching we learn a lot about her monsters and creatures help catching recover from her injury.
- Beths father was called into the office by his boss because he wasn't allowed to interview catching. soon later Beth suspected that his boss was hiding something but they still wanted to get on with the case.
- when they both decided to continue on with the case Beths dad tried to get in contact with Alexander sholt who was either killed or went missing after trying to contact him and not answering they soon found out that he was missing and no-one knew how someone could go missing in a small town.
