- I want you to build me a maze. I pay really well.
- I finished the maze. Please give me my money and I'm going to leave Crete.
- I'm sorry but I can't let you leave.
- Icarus, I can't live here anymore. It's like a prison here.
- Why do you want to leave? We live like kings here.
- King Minos of Crete, wanted a famous Greek architect, Daedalus, to build him a maze.
- Please give one of your feathers, i need to make wings to leave Crete.
- Daedalus finished building the maze and wanted his money and he wanted to leave Crete too.
- Here are some wings, son. Let's leave Crete
- Daedalus wanted to leave Crete but, his son, Icarus, thought otherwise.
- I flew too high, I should've listened to you, father.
- Daedalus asked birds every day for one of their feathers so that he could make wings to escape King Mino's Palace.
- Daedalus gave his son, Icarus some wings that he made so they could leave Crete.
- Icarus flew too high and the sun melted the wax on his back. Then, he fell from hundreds of feet in the air in to the water. He drowned next to an island which is now called Ikaria because of his name.
