- Crystal Kingdom Series
- Princess Lilly Saves the Day!
- Once upon a time, beyond the Great Stone Wall in Atlantasica and deep in Atlantis Ocean was the magical Crystal Kingdom
- Lilly, Princess of Crystal Kingdom, lived with her family Orca Queen and Orca King.
- Her family was the ruler of Crystal Kingdom because they are apex predators.
- Lilly needs her beauty sleep today even though she follows a diel cycle. Today is her birthday party so all 50,000 Orcas will be coming to see her from around the world including her far relatives
- She eats a special breakfast of Mackerel and Herring with her 40 family members known as a deadly pod!
- Mmm! Birthday breakfast is the best! Thanks Grandma.
- Before her part tonight, Lilly has to go to school!
- Lilly goes to school with her distant cousin, Amy the Dolphin, since Orcas are odontocetes. She also goes to school with Clara the Shrimp, her best friend. They have a commensal relationship.
- First, Lilly has to write a biology test! This unit, she learned about defenses such as echolocation and close-knit group hunting abilities. Lilly is the smartest in the class because she has the second-largest brain amongst mammals that is 2.5 times bigger than average!
- Only 1 question left then gym class! I am super excited!!!
- Lilly is practicing to participate in the National Orca Jumping Competition! She can jump up to 10 to 15 feet high!
- Practice makes perfect! I can't believe I won regionals and now I am going to nationals!
- When Lilly comes home, Lilly's birthday party begins! Her family comes from Antarctica, Norway, Alaska and sub-tropical waters since Orcas live in clumped distribution patterns.
- Yay! I love cephalopod flavored birthday cake!
- Lilly gets a magical wand for her birthday with the power of tonic immobility to protect her kingdom!
- The next day, Lilly sees the shark bullies taking away lunch from her classmate. Using her magic wand, she scares them away. She is a hero!
- Leave my friend alone!
- But Lilly and her family are in danger! Because of plastic pollution, melting of glaciers, boat oil spills which cause habitat disturbance and wild captures for captivity, Orcas may become an endangered species
- Orcas are important to balance the ecosystem. Without Orcas, there will be too many fish and seals! Without fish and seals because of overhunting, Orcas will go extinct and the food chain will no longer exist. Each food chain in nature effects humans at the end. We will suffer the most if we don't take care of our planet and Lilly's family!
- By living sustainably and decreasing your carbon footprint, you can help Lilly and her family live happily ever after!
