My name is David AndrésBriceño Valderrama. I am 19 years old.I am from Colombia, I live in Duitama Boyacá. I was born at theTundama clinic at 5 am that day it was very cold. I was born on February 23, 2003, in DuitamaBoyacá. I live with my parents, my brother and my grandmother. When I was 4 years old I started studying at the SantoTomas de Aquino School in Duitama. There I did transition and first grade butdue to distance problems, I could not continue studying there. Then my parentsmoved me to the Guillermo Leon Valencia school where I continued with theprimary grades and finished my high school there. In this same school, Igraduated as an academic high school graduate.
SCENE 4
When I was intransition I had a classmate with a disability and he bullied me, but later mymom went and talked to him about the situation and after that, he and I becamebest friends, during the break we didn't spend time together in the classroom,he was with me everywhere and he even took care of me from other students inthe school. He was one of my best friends after so many things that happenedbut when I left school I could not see him again. When I was in the other schooleverything was very different although the teachers were very nice and helpedme with many things. One day a classmate with a disability arrived and webecame instant friends. At first, I was afraid because of what had happened tome with the other classmate but later I became familiar with him and we becamefriends. ´
SCENE 5
At the end of the year, we went to San Mateo Boyacá tovisit some relatives since we had not been there for a long time. Unexpectedlywe met some cousins that we had not seen for more than 5 years and a cousin whohad become ill and had been unconscious and the doctors no longer gave hope butthe things of God are very nice and that day we met her and it was one of thebest vacations I've had.
SCENE 6
The day of my graduation from school was very cool butthat day different things happened that made that day not so nice. First, myparents forgot the invitation to the graduation ceremony and without thatinvitation, they didn't let me in, then there was a robbery in front of theschool and some teachers were bothering me and didn't let me participate and beattentive to the protocol of the day. In the end, the rector gave her words andput the order in the attendees to the event for good development of the activity.
It all started when I was in fifth grade and they tookus to Jaime Duque Park in Bogota and the salt mines. We were all fifth gradersfrom the school in general, each class went on a bus with their teacher andguide. From Duitama we left at 5 am and there we arrived at 8 am we first madea stop at the salt mines we went in there and watched a movie in the cinemathere in 3D. Then we left the salt mine and went to the Jaime Duque park halfan hour from there. At 11:00 am we started to have lunch and at midnight westarted to go through each of the attractions of the park. Unexpectedly wecontinued with the castle of terror but at first, I did not want to enterbecause it scared me but then as a strange thing I ended up entering. Then at 5pm, we went back on the bus each with his guide and teacher arriving in Duitamaat 8 pm. A very cool experience that I will not forget from my childhood.
Another wonderful experience was in eleventh gradewhen I was about to leave high school when the humanities major took us to thebook fair in Bogota. At first, they were only going to take us humanitiesstudents but then they decided to take all the academic and technical majors. That day we left at 4 am and arrived at about 11 or 12 am because there weremany cars and the traffic was terrible. Along the way, we made stops to have breakfastand rest a little. Then we arrived and started having lunch and then we wentthrough all the pavilions that were there looking at the different books, activities, etc. that were in each of them. That day there were the jurors of"la Voz kids" and I had the opportunity to meet Fanny Lu and awriter. It was a very cool day that Iwill never forget that day we returned to Duitama at 6 or 7 pm and we arrivedhere in Duitama almost at 11 pm. It was a day to share with classmates andteachers and also to meet artists and others. These are some of the stories ofmy life that have caught my attention in one way or another. They have impactedmy life and have helped me to continue to be humble, respectful, and kind, tomove forward and fight for my dreams.
