- The digestive system
- hi i am Mr. Burger we will have a journey to the digestive system first the mouth, The teeth will crush and chop the food while the saliva helps to mix the food and its called bolus and this starts the mechanical digestions
- now we are here in the esophagus its a long tube that connects with the mouth and the stomach the peristalsis will push the food to the stomach
- The stomach will release a acid that will break down the bolus and this is chemical digestion the villi will absorb the proteins of the bolus then the bolus will go down the small intestines
- now we are no the small intestines this breaks down the food further into substances, such as glucose, that can be absorbed by the villi then we will enter the large intestine
- the large intestine will reabsorb all the liquids then we will go in the rectum where the food will stay until the food will come out of the anus and that's our journey
