  • One of the few things that happen in this case was the police officers arrived at Dollree  Mapp house and forced themselves in the house.

  • In her house they found a man who was ruled out as a suspected that was hiding and they found other things which could be connected to the bombing plus pornographic books
  • U.S Supreme Court ruled on a 5-3 vote in favor of Mapp.
  • The significance of the court case was that it was a landmark case which introduces the exclusionary rule to the states which had already existed in the Federal Level. Which meant that it's illegal to obtain evidence without a warrant and use it as evidence against the defendant. Violation of the Fourth Amendment.
