Low level manager (Wukong) climbs the corporate ladder in an agricultural company (Banana Factory). He aspires to be part of the company’s upper management.
Wukong is rude and arrogant towards his colleagues under him in his department (Ox King) and often talks down to them, showing them little to no respect.
Wukong steps over his fellow managers and steals credit to ascend to a higher level.
Wukong backstabs an Upper Manager to drag them down (King of Hell).
Is noticed by CEO (Lord Erland) for his bad attitude but genius level intellect and reports this to the Chairman (Buddha).
Is called into a meeting with the Chairman (Buddha), Wukong is sent to the In-Field department to work on the research close up to learn humility.
Wukong is too impatient and has a bad temper, always causing his crops to fail and report/research to be of poor quality.
Tripitaka sees Wukong one day and decides to help Wukong.
The field office is shutting down if there is still no progress in the upcoming report. Wukong's family loses faith in him and he faces termination from his job.
The crops grow in time and are top quality, worth a lot of money. He sends in his research. His family eats the food and slowly attempts to understand.
With this research submitted, more farmers can grow crops faster and better.
He is brought back to main office one day to see the chairman again who finally tells him the CEO is stepping down and seeing his new attitude, promotes Wukong to CEO.
