  • Okay, class, this is your project for this quarter is...
  • Hay dad, can I talk to you for a second?
  • It's not pathetic
  • Yea, sure what do you want to talk about?
  • Yeah right
  • Asking dad about that pathetic project of yours?
  • It's okay I'm not gonna be disappointed you should do your best even if I can't help you through it.
  • What if I didn't get the prize?
  • My name is Prince, a 7th grader. The coronavirus is still rising at an alarming level. Students are required to take their classes at home or as, we call it, online classes. In the middle of the semester, given performance tasks to finish the quarter. And as classes ended soon, our teacher announced the assignment and, we finally to have our semestral break. We need to make a campaign poster online addressing our current situations and issues and how to find a solution during this pandemic.

  • I'm living with my dad, big sister, and family dog, Ox. We're close in terms of problems that connect us to resolve as one. A competitive sister like Rose whose also my number one enemy. Instead of helping, it's the opposite of what a big sister should treat her younger sibling. A phone ringing disrupted the room, and as always, it's about work. Questions left hanging for the project I need an older person to answer.
  • Hello, kiddo so how's that project your working on?
  • Welcome back dad!
  • It went great there are just some matters that sink in with our theme.
  • Unfortunately, dad has an important meeting that will take a big-time on his schedule. That will lean on the poster and creatively that needs my imagination to differ from others. But he always gives me the confidence and advice I need from him as a son. That boosts my courage to continue what matters the problem in our own hands even without asking for help.
  • Oh my god, I didn't think I will win the first place!
  • The kitchen is where I can concentrate, away from distraction, to focus on the task, a list of topics that I can cover even through this pandemic that can to reform. And as easy and environmentally possible to undertake even for a student like me. That is to make an inspiring poster that I spread to platforms to be acknowledged by people on the internet.
  • After finishing my project, I've submitted it immediately to my teacher, so I have a chance to be one of the winners. And while going down to the living room, dad just got home and asked me about the project and, I told him. He was proud of me for finishing it even without his guidance.
  • Welp, I hope you win that competition buddy!
  • Thanks dad.
  • When the results came, I was surprised that I'd won the competition, and my suggestion was to post it on social platforms can acknowledge the campaign. Receiving a trophy with a ribbon is not enough from the support my dad gives me, even if we can't be with each other when I need his help.
