- Um, hey there...
- Wakefield... 42 days after the beginning of the end, orphan Jack Sullivan, one of the last kids on earth, is battling Blarg in front of a CVS.

- Jack goes to his best friend Quint's house (guy in the lab coat) when he finds out Quint is alive. Quint is the science nerd who develops all the weapons for fighting zombies and monsters!

- We're doomed!
- Quick get down!
- Jack is getting gas for Big Mama and the tree house when he meets a monster dog and names him Rover. Rover becomes Jack's first pet ever and comes to live with him and Quint in the tree house.

- Pick on someone your own size!
- Let's dance, monster pants!
- Driving around town, looking for Jack's crush June Del Toro, Quint and Jack find the school bully Dirk who rescues them from a winged wretch. Quint reluctantly agrees to letting Dirk stay with them at their tree house.
- Get down Jack!
- After learning about June's whereabouts, Jack forces his friends to go to the school and rescue her. Roles are reversed when June ends up rescuing them from certain death by giant zombie ball.
- The group escapes from the school aided by Quint's scientific know-how and Rover's quick assistance. The team makes it to the tree house for the final battle against Acid Blarg. The team works together and successfully destroys Blarg. Jack has a new family and a new home.
