- John the Baptist walks the desert
- John teaches a crowd about God
- Crowds rush for John
- Look! Its John the Baptist!
- Quick, hurry! We might get to be one of the first to be baptised!
- There was a man called John the Baptist. He traveled through the desert, preaching and teaching people about God, and baptising them.
- People think John could be the Saviour
- I am baptising you, but very soon someone greater than me will come.
- Is John our Saviour that we have been waiting for?
- John wanted to live a very simple life. He felt that having a lot of things wasn't important. Instead as he travelled, he taught people about God.
- Jesus comes to be baptised by John
- How could I, just a regular man, baptise Jesus, the Saviour of the world?
- When John went to visit the desert cities, crowds would flock out to listen to him and be baptised by him
- Jesus is baptised
- This is my Son, I love him, and I am pleased with him
- As people were coming to John, they wondered if he was the Savior they had been waiting for. John said "I am baptising you, but very soon someone greater then me will come.
- Excuse me John, but I was wondering, are you our Saviour?
- Jesus eventually came, to be baptized by John. At first, John was in disbelief, but then eventually he put hand on his back and laid him down into the water.
- Its important that i do this now. I am ready and i want to be an example to others and show them that it's important.
- As soon as Jesus was baptized, the sky opened up, and the Holy Spirit came down like a white dove, and landed on Jesus's shoulder. A voice from heaven said "This is my Son, I love him, and I am pleased with him.
