- Martha clearly got the better grades she gets the jacket I don't care who her father is
- Martha goes back to get her gym shorts and when she is about to enter the room, she stops as she hears two of her teachers arguing.
- Joanns father works for the board we can say it was close
- Martha gets through the day and waits for the bell to ring in the last period
- Martha sits at home crying quietly so her grandma cant hear her then falls asleep
- Thanks for breakfast grandpa 
- Ok I will ask my grandpa
- Martha we are going to have to make the cost of the jacket $15 this year and if you can’t pay it will go to the next person in line
- Martha walks home from the bus stop crying
