- That is a mole. It is a natural coloring of the skin. It is not dangerous and I think it makes you unique!
- Can it be dangerous in some cases?
- Unusual moles can indicate skin cancer and the sunlight also plays a role in moles.
- Wow, that is cool.
- Yeah, one unusual spot can cause melanoma. You have to check for the border, color, symmetry, diameter, and its changes.
- Is it more common in males or females?
- There is a 20% raise in males with moles than females. Males are more likely to get moles.
- Moles normally show up at the age of 30, but just because you got one before that age does not mean it is bad.
