- In the atmosphere there is carbon gas. This gas is removed from the atmosphere by a process called photosyntheis that plants complete make energy.
- Carbon is also moved throughout the food web since herbivores eat plants, carnivores eat herbivores and so on up the chain. Animals also release carbon during respiration when they exhale.
