- Jesus and his disciples went to the garden
- Judas came to the garden
- Judas asks for Jesus
- Jesus of Nazerath!
- Who is it you want?
- When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the valley. On the other side, there was a garden, and Jesus and his disciples went into it. Judas, who had betrayed him, knew the place because Jesus had often gone there with his disciples
- Jesus answers back
- I am Jesus, if you are looking for me then let these men go”.
- Judas came to the garden, with a crew of soldiers and a chief priest. They were carrying torches, lanterns, and weapons.
- Simon Peter draws his sword
- “Put your sword away!
- Jesus knew what was going to happen to him then went out and asked them, “ Who is it you want?” “Jesus of Nazareth,” they said
- They arrest Jesus
- Jesus said, “I am Jesus”, if you are looking for me then let these men go”. They took Jesus so his disciples were let go. I haven't lost those you gave me.”
- Then Simon Peter, chopped off the high priest’s helper’s ear.Jesus told Peter, “Put your sword away! Otherwise, I won't drink from the cup my father has given me?”
- So the soldiers, their leader, and the police arrested Jesus.
