- Bagheera, the black panther, found a child in the jungle
- SCENE FOUR
- and that boy was raised by a pack of wolves who raised him as their own son and named him Mowgli
- SCENE FIVE
- Mowgli learned to live in the jungle cared for by his friend Bagheera. Elephants also became friends and other animals.
- Not everyone in the jungle was friendly. Kaa, the hungry boa, wanted to eat Mowgli! But Mowgli had a more dangerous enemy, Shere.Khan, the tiger, who was hell-bent on killing him before Mowgli became a man.
- The captian of the wolf pack and Bagheera decided that there wasonly one way to save the boy andthat was to take him to thevillage
