  • Within Act 1 Scene 2 of Julius Caesar, Cassius tells Brutus of two instances when he was forced to save Caesar from danger. On Slide 1, Caesar and Cassius visit the Tiber River, but Caesar cannot swim. To avoid his death, Caesar calls for Cassius to save him,On Slide 2, Caesar and Cassius visit Spain, and Caesar becomes very ill very quickly. Here Cassius compares his wailing and complaints to that of a little girl.
  • How this relates to the eventual death of Caesar is the fact that Brutus was the one who learned all this new information about Caesar. Now Brutus who once had this idea that Caesar was in fact fit to be king of Rome is much weaker than he carries himself. Due to this newfound information, Brutus eventually joins the conspirators which ultimately leads to the death of Caesar.
  • During Act 2 Scene 2, Caesar's wife Calpurnia warns Caesar of a terrible dream she had. In this dream, she saw Caesar's death, but Caesar claims he is indestructible and will never die. This is the final chance Caesar got to save his own life, if he would've listen to Calpurnia he might've lived one more day. Yet he goes to the senate where he is murdered by all the senators.
