Storyboard Text
- The story begins with a group of boys being washed up on an island and then the protagonist of the story Ralph finds a conch shell. He uses this shell to call all the boys to a platform in the middle of the island. From this platform the boys divide roles to each other so that they can survive on the island. The group decides to make a signal fire so that they may be rescued.
- The boy made the signal fire but nobody was attending it then they spotted a ship. This sparked the first major conflict in the story with Ralph becoming angry with the other boys. While this is happening Jack and a small group of boys start to go hunt the wild pigs on the island. There is also a rumor of a beast on the island that starts to grow.
- As the rumors of a beast spread on the island, Jack and Ralph head to the top of the island to look for this "beast" and they discover a dark shadow then run away. After running they get back to the camp Jack starts to blame Ralph saying that he was a coward and did not want to confront the beast. Then, Jack says that he is making a new group and if anyone wanted to join him to follow him. Most boys followed Jack leaving Ralph's group leading to a huge split in leadership.
- After Jack takes half of the group of boys and his hunters, they set up a camp on a rock that they then fortify. Ralph and Piggy approach the camp to try and speak with the tribe that has been driven mad. Ralph confronts the boys blowing the conch causing them to freeze. After a few seconds of awkward silence Ralph and Piggy start getting pelted with spears being thrown at them. This leads to Piggy falling off the rock leading to his death. The tribe then chases Ralph further into the island.
- As the deranged tribe gives chase to Ralph he hides in bushes, among trees, and in a cave to evade capture. The tribe then sets the island ablaze to draw Ralph out with the smoke of the fire. However there isn't any certain escape for Ralph on the tiny Island, the tribe eventually discovers him and chases him across the island to the beach. There is a surprise that none of the boys were expecting on the shore however.
- Upon arriving at the beach the boys are surprised to see a Naval Officer. The officer and his ship were attracted to the island upon seeing the smoke and had came to rescue the boys. The children proceed to have a breakdown after seeing the officer, realizing the pure insanity that had overtaken them. Also, the boys had admitted that two people were killed and that they did not know how many people there were which surprised the man.
