- I was given a vision that you should never call impure what God has made clean.

- The Church in Antioch
- The apostles and believers heard the Gentiles had received the word of God. When Peter traveled to Jerusalem he was criticized for eating with uncircumcised men. Peter explains his actions.
- Through the Holy Spirit, Peter realizes that across all people, God had given his gift of mercy. When he explained this occurrence to those who were criticizing him, they had no further objections.
- Barnabas found Saul and took him to Antioch. For a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians at first.
